BY CAR Take NJ Turnpike to exit 14. Follow signs to Rt 21 (McCarter Highway) Newark; take 21 North across viaduct (bridge). Continue approx. 1 mile to Elm and make a left. Go one block to Columbia and make a right, go two blocks to Lafayette Street and make a right. The next corner is Liberty Street and Lafayette St. On your left is a 1900 factory building this is #19. All other corners have parking lots. Park and come to the Liberty St. Entrance. A yellow banner is hanging over the door. BY TRAIN From New York City, take New Jersey Transit train from 33 Penn Station, or the Path train from 33 Street, or from the World Trade Center-to Penn Station Newark. From Points in New Jersey, take New Jersey Transit train to Penn Station, Newark. At Penn Station Newark, exit the station at front doors and go left one half block to Market Street, go right one block to McCarter Highway, go left on McCarter for 3 blocks to Lafayette Street. (You will have to walk on the other side of the street because the side walk will disappear when you get under the bridge crossing McCarter). Turn right on Lafayette Street, (do not go under the railroad trestle that crosses Lafayette) go one block up the grade on Lafayette to the corner which is Liberty Street.
